About Armanda-Intore Dance

The Intore dance, a vibrant and dynamic performance, is a highlight of our cultural dance repertoire in Uganda. Originally from Rwanda, where it is known as the “Dance of Heroes,” this powerful dance has been embraced by tribes in Uganda’s South Western region. Featuring high jumps, rhythmic drumbeats, and intricate choreography, Intore showcases the strength, unity, and rich heritage of the communities that perform it, blending Rwandan tradition with Ugandan cultural pride.
